Initial complementary consultation
To understand your specific circumstances and requirements, we start each new client relationship with a complementary face-to-face or telephone meeting to get to know a little more about you. We’ll gather personal and financial information to help us to provide suitable advice and establish your financial priorities, whilst explaining investment risk if appropriate and understanding your attitude to risk.
Whether we are remunerated by charging fees or accepting commission from providers, we're always upfront with our pricing. In our initial consultation with you, we'll provide you with transparent guidance on anticipated fees based on the services required and complexity of the situation. Fees may be subject to VAT depending on the service, and the Angell Mallinder adviser you speak to will advise you as to whether or not this is the case. We do not charge for our first meeting and there is no obligation on either side. During this consultation, we will explore the options for payment of our remuneration, whether this is via the product or via invoice.
Research & Advice
After this consultation, we’ll assess the information we gathered and begin to formulate a plan that is tailored for you. Gathering any further information we require from providers of any existing plans and policies, we’ll carry out research and analysis to arrive at the most suitable recommendations. This will be presented to you in a detailed, clear and impartial manner.
Once our course of action is agreed, it’s time to put it into motion. We’ll handle red tape, complexity and legislative guidelines to give you financial peace of mind, implementing our agreed plan and managing the process.
Ongoing Service & Reviews
As your lifestyle or situation changes, it’s important to conduct ongoing reviews to ensure that your financial services reflect exactly what you need and require. This may include periodic reviews of implemented plans, policies, investments and pensions, in addition to any specific queries or concerns you may have as you move through life. We pride ourselves on building long-lasting relationships, and demonstrate proactivity by suggesting useful new financial products and ensuring continual alignment with financial regulations, updated annual allowances and financial market positioning. Working closely with you, we will explain the success of the plan so far and agree any modifications to keep it on track as we move forward.
