Founding the company in 1997, Mike was the Midlands Area Manager for Clerical Medical Investment Group having worked within the Financial Services sector since 1984. Mike specialises in pensions and investments and sets up the quarterly risk-graded portfolios.
An ex-rugby player, Mike is a very keen golfer and former club captain. He enjoys travelling and long treks, having climbed Mount Kilamanjo, Mount Fuji and Macchu Pichu together with the four UK peaks back-to-back. In his spare time, Mike also likes to ride his Harley Davidson.
Senior Financial Planner
Having worked in the financial service industry since the late 90s, Steve worked initially for Abbey Life and Canada Life before becoming an Independent Financial Adviser. Working with a large range of clients, Steve enjoys problem-solving and constructing bespoke financial plans, specialising in tax and retirement planning.
Working towards Chartered status allows Steve to remain at the forefront of technical knowledge, and apply his expertise to his clients’ requirements. In his own words, Steve is a keen but poor golfer, enjoying motorbiking, cooking and keeping active by walking with his Jack Russell pup Dudley.
Having left Newcastle Poly, I decided to embark on a sales career whilst playing for Gosforth Rugby. Following the successful Baa Baas Easter tour of ’82, I moved to Bath. Playing rugby for Bath and England in the halcyon days before professional rugby meant working for a living, so I joined the financial services industry. Over the next 18 years, I had a number of sales and management roles until doing the right thing and becoming an IFA. In 2004, I became the director of one of the leading boutique wealth managers in the country. My colleagues and I work closely with our clients on a hands-on basis to help them achieve their long-term goals and ambitions. I strive to enable my clients to balance current lifestyle, family and financial needs whilst working with them to build a portfolio of investments to meet their future financial needs and security.
